The 25 miles of Cedar River Water Trail moderately flowing through the campground, an easy to paddle from drop off at Chickasaw Park to stop at campground beach.
There are interesting and rare wildlife species that can be seen on the Cedar River. Many turtle species, the wood turtle, and the Blanding’s turtle are found in this river. As well as many sandy beaches along the way where you can stop and enjoy beach lunch. Overall, the trip offers a pleasant paddle for canoeists.

FISHING
There are good fishing opportunities in both little cedar river or 2 ponds surrendering the campground. smallmouth bass, northern pike, Walleye, and bullheads but bass are most commonly caught. Mussels and other shellfish can be found in the little cedar river which is a great indicator of water quality.
RIVER TUBING
Little Cedar River is great for river tubing! The river is rich with scenery and great sandbars to park along. The tube float is normally 3-5 hours of on the water fun!
Check in a minimum of 30 minutes before your transportation departure time. Complimentary transportation for River Tubing departs by the office.
