CANOEING/Kayak
Check out the 25-mile Cedar River Water Trail! It flows nicely through the campground, making it super easy to paddle from the drop-off at Chickasaw Park to the campground beach.
You’ll spot some cool and rare wildlife along the way, like the white-tailed deer, American beaver and red-tailed hawk. There are also plenty of sandy beaches to take a break and enjoy a beach lunch.
Overall, it’s a chill paddle for canoeists. don’t forget, the campground has rental and shuttle services to make your adventure even smoother!
FISHING
There are good fishing opportunities in both little cedar river or 2 ponds surrendering the campground. smallmouth bass, northern pike, Walleye, and bullheads but bass are most commonly caught. Mussels and other shellfish can be found in the little cedar river which is a great indicator of water quality.

Little Cedar River is great for river tubing! The river is rich with scenery and great sandbars to park along. The tube float is normally 3-5 hours of on the water fun!
Check in a minimum of 30 minutes before your transportation departure time. Complimentary transportation for River Tubing departs by the office.
